Apex Consultative Approach USMC
USMCA = Trade Agreement Details
Approximately 10,000 northbound trucks pass through the Port of Laredo daily, primarily via the World Trade Bridge, which connects Laredo, Texas, with Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. This makes Laredo the busiest land port in the U.S., handling a substantial share of trade between the two countries.
The current trade agreement between the United States, Canada, and Mexico is the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
It replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on July 1, 2020.
The USMCA is also referred to as the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) in Canada and the Tratado entre México, Estados Unidos y Canadá (T-MEC) in Mexico.
